as far as the new netting goes, I think it will be a good addition. It will help with the crushed fouls and flying bats. I always cringe when I see one helicoptering up that way.

Rangers extended Banny's contract by picking up his 2018 option and adding a 2019 option.

Edit to add that 3rd base coach Tony Beasley was diagnosed with a treatable form of rectal cancer. He'll be in camp tomorrow though.

So some good and bad coaching news coming out from the Rangers just now.
