Rangers want nothing to do with Keuchel
quote:quote:I'm glad y'all were able to experience what it feels like to be in first place for a little while. It's made this board a little more interesting now that a lot of yall have come out from hiding.
Whatever you need to tell yourself when you're watching October baseball as a neutral observer.
But Keuchel is going to remind y'all of your role in this state tonight, so I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted

quote:But its not. Its a thread for talking ****. Not a difficult concept.quote:
**** everyone you ****s!
If this was the Astros thread this poster would be banned.
quote:So you would prefer to lose to make a thread more interesting..... ok
Trash talking thread really isn't that much fun when the other team lays down.
quote:Sorry, I mistyped. I meant this is what the Rangers will do with a comfortable 1.5 game lead.quote:
Enjoy it while it lasts, Keuchel goes for the kill tomorrow.
This will be the Rangers after taking a 0.5 game lead:
quote:Better? You mean the Rangers team that wouldn't be playing .500 if they couldn't play the Astros, or the Astros that are still above .500 despite having a terrible record against the Rangers this season?
Evenly matched except for that whole Astros being 4-8 against Texas coming into this series thing.
It was clear who the better team was coming into this series. The last 3 games just served to show the Astros fans what everyone else already knew - they aren't ready for big games down the stretch.

quote:I believe his point was that the Astros are 4-11 against us, and that is not good. And goes to show they are not evenly matched.quote:Better? quote:Probably meant the Rangers team that is 70-51 since May 3 (their low point of season) vs the Astros who have been 59-62 in the same stretch. But credit the Astros. They had one heck of a first month of the season.quote:Better? quote:1) Rangers are 11 games over .500, so even taking away the multitude of wins they've collected against the Astros, they'd still be 4 games over .500.

quote:You realize Dallas Keuchel is on the Astros right? Take any teams #1 and they'd be worse. That isn't groundbreaking news.quote:1) Rangers are 11 games over .500, so even taking away the multitude of wins they've collected against the Astros, they'd still be 4 games over .500.

2) Astros are 20-10 when Keuchel starts, but 57-59 in all other games. Astros are a sub-.500 team when Keuchel isn't pitching. Heck, they've been a sub-.500 team ever since they got off to a hot start in the first month.
quote:Ya, this guy name Yu Darvish, he's pretty monstrous on the mound and always dominates the LAstros.
Aren't the Rangers currently playing without their #1?
