I know bryant will get it, but is he worth it. What will javy and willie be worth? Rizzo? Who stays and who goes?

The definitely need to lock up Javy long term, IMO.

It's just the market, but mid to upper 30s seems fair for almost 6-7 WAR performance. The question will be what happens next year. Rendon backed up a 4.2WAR 2018 with a 6.3WAR 2019...then signed his deal.

Bryant started in the league with seasons of 6-7 WAR, then 1.9 (hurt) and then 3.6 this year. His offensive numbers aren't really that far off his 6.1WAR year, outside of RBIs. (maybe it's also because he didn't take advantage of the juiced balls as others did)

I'd probably take Rendon over KB but it's close. Javy is the #1 priority right now. Love Rizzo but I'm glad the Cubs told him they will not be discussing an extension at this time. He still has 2 years left on his deal and who knows what kind of shape his body will be in at that point.

Castellanos to Reds. Always a long shot to sign with Cubbies, but wish they could've found a way to make room for him.

I'm not necessarily a huge fan of this decision but he's a big OBP guy which is needed at the top of the order. We don't really have a better option. And it's not like he's Mark McGwire or anything. His career high in HR is 39 and that was his MVP year. His 31 last year was only his second time in the 30's.
