It's just the market, but mid to upper 30s seems fair for almost 6-7 WAR performance. The question will be what happens next year. Rendon backed up a 4.2WAR 2018 with a 6.3WAR 2019...then signed his deal.
Bryant started in the league with seasons of 6-7 WAR, then 1.9 (hurt) and then 3.6 this year. His offensive numbers aren't really that far off his 6.1WAR year, outside of RBIs. (maybe it's also because he didn't take advantage of the juiced balls as others did)
