Pretty cool nugget about Cubs second round pick, Burl Carraway:
"Carraway, 21, has gone 6-2 with 11 saves and a 2.47 ERA (14 ER/51.0 IP) in his last two seasons at Dallas Baptist, including eight appearances in his shortened 2020 junior campaign. He struck out 89 batters, while walking 28, in 51.0 innings during this span.
The six-foot southpaw was named First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference as a sophomore in 2019, going 4-2 with a 2.81 ERA and a team-high six saves. He struck out 15.72 batters per nine innings, the second-best single-season mark in school history. Following the collegiate season, he pitched with the U.S. Collegiate National Team.

Wow, Cotton sucks. I really hope he's just working on some pitches.
Cotton was God awful. I hope he's not a regular otherwise we are in trouble this season.

Eh, it's one exhibition outing. I'm not going to throw the season away over that performance. Who knows how much he even figures to be in the bullpen mix anyway.

Really hope Yu can get his stuff together. So frustrating to watch after seeing a real pitching performance by Kyle. I'm tired about hearing how he has 53 different pitches he can throw.

Chatwood was excellent yesterday. Hopefully we get to see him pitch again. After 14 Marlins tested positive for the Rona I have to wonder if this is the beginning of the end for baseball in 2020, The Year of Satan.

Last night was fun...until the end. Even though they managed to barely hang on for the W the implosion really took away the joy.

Chatwood was awesome. So far starting pitching been great. Bullpen awful.
Theo and Jed absolutely need to make a trade for a reliever or two that can be reliable. Outside of Jeffress, I trust no one.
Given the slippery slope of this season, I have a feeling very few trades will happen.
Besides RP, everything else looks good. 6-2 is a great start

With expanded rosters there's no reason to DFA him just yet. We would still have to pay him. Might as well see if he can be fixed. He just cannot be used in any critical situations until he's shown he can pitch again.
The rosters are at 30 now, correct?
IIRC there is a phased in reduction through the end of the regular season when teams must get down to a roster size of 26. Do I have that right?
