How do buyouts work in relation to salary cap and who we can possibly add this year?

So many questions with Sochan:
Did the point guard experiment stunt his development?
His shot mechanics were terrible, then he tried that one-handed stuff, then went back - never changed never improved. Did he refuse to remake his shot or not directed to? Maybe more a mental thing for him?
He was irritating and grating to opposing players, was he the same on the practice floor? Was he liked in the locker room? Maybe the team didn't like him always starting stuff?
He didn't lack effort and seemed to do as coaches wanted. I guess it could really just be he was passed up on the depth chart.
One night after a hard fall on his tailbone knocked him out of the game in LA, Steph Castle is available to play against the Warriors.

I do think he was doomed by the PG experiment.
