As interesting as the pulls are for Youtubers with large-ish audiences it makes me wonder if there's more to it? Seems odd

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some funny business with some of the larger breakers who pull crazy stuff. Not sure how big this YouTuber was. His other 3 boxes were pretty bad.

It's way easier when you realize the big breakers are just paid marketing for Topps.

The big breakers also have much greater access to the Breaker's Delight boxes that tend to be loaded with hits. Even in the rare cases where you can find the Delight boxes online or at a card shop, they are priced such that only the highest income collectors can comfortably purchase them.

Second box went a wee bit better than the first for my kiddo.

Have two mega boxes waiting for me at home. Still chasing the retail hit high of pulling a Dak Prescott Auto to 50 out of a Topps Chrome hanger box from Dicks during opening week

Opened a few Mega's this evening. I pulled a big hit with a Fanatical Cooper Flagg. Other hits were in the $5-$10 range. Got a purple raywave Rui Hachimura /75 that would have been really nice if it was LeBron or Luka.

Yeah, I had a tough go of it as well. 4 Megas and 10 Blasters didn't result in much:

- 2 rookie sticker autos, no one of note
- 3 numbered cards, nothing of note
- No Dylan Harper, 1 Cooper base, 1 Kon parallel (though 4 VJ's and 4 Ace's, in both cases 3 base cards and a parallel).

Best cards were probably the Cooper base and a Wemby insert refractor (non-numbered). That's how it goes sometimes. Might try to get a couple of the Fanatics exclusive Megas when they release, but otherwise don't really plan on buying much more from this set.

The Cooper Flagg Debut Patch was found. The X thread has a link to a YouTube live stream, so this seems pretty legit. Will be interesting to see how much product demand, and therefore price, will fall now the key chase card is no longer available.

I bet the retail price will remain steady since there are still several big name debut patch cards and case hits left in the product. The secondary market prices for boxes should in theory go down in the coming weeks.

I haven't seen the details. Was it a break that others bought into? So the card is actually going to someone else, not these guys?

It was in a Hobby 3-box PYT break from a breaker(Rhody Breakers) that does breaks on their own website.

The price got down to about $14,500 then sold out. $2,400 per auto. Still not worth it.

I've got boxes of quality cards like these from the 90's. I bought them , stuck the in a box and forgot about them. Mainly Jordan, Shaq and David Robinson plus other top names. I need to get rid of them. Where would be a good place to start looking?

If they are in good shape, get them graded -- particularly the Jordans.

Topps Chrome Black Basketball releases next Thursday via EQL (basically a lottery drawing). Should price around $350 or so. It's a hobby only configuration, 2 packs of 6 cards each plus an encased auto. Will be difficult to get your money back, but if you get lucky and hit the right player on the auto or on a rare insert, you could do very well. If you don't win the EQL, you're probably looking at a 50-100% markup on the secondary market.

After that, I would guess that Topps will start pre-orders for 2026/27 Flagship Basketball sometime in September for an October retail release.

Agree w/ Look Out Below. Jordan is still and will always be in demand. Shaq cards can do well too. I would start by checking recent eBay sales of your cards. If they are better, higher end cards, and in mint/near mint condition you can just sell individually on eBay.

Grading has gotten so pricey and takes a long time. But if you're sitting on some mint Jordan rookies in pristine shape, yeah, get them graded.

If you just want to sell them quickly you could go to a local card shop (or show) and try to make a deal. But still, do some research into their value first.

I just got back in town. Apparently Pristine Basketball releases via EQL tomorrow. These will be pretty pricey, I imagine.

I don't know much about baseball anymore, but it looks like there are a few upcoming releases.

I just got a Flagship football hobby box and mega box. This will be the first Topps release with the 2026 rookies.

Hope you have better luck than I did with Flagship football. Got one Jumbo and one Mega through pre-order, and both boxes were duds. A few numbered cards, one auto, two relics, and a couple of case hits, but none of them were star players or super rare. And I managed to pull a grand total of zero Mendoza cards.

Still have a couple of Fanatics Exclusive value boxes and Super boxes from DSG on order, so maybe I will have a little more luck with those.
