The game was already off reach. Hardaway sucks when it really matters, but good for him getting some practice shots in.

That definitely has all the makings of a classic dead cat bounce, but at least you don't get swept at home.
The next step is not getting snowballed early in game 5. Boston is going to come out with their hair on fire trying to end it early. If you can get game 5 to the 4th as a close game then doubt can start to creep in.

kyire and luka also combined for 1-14 from 3 tonight

My bad yall. I watched 1 quarter of this game and it was the 3rd quarter. The 3 quarters I didn't watch, the Mavs were the better team.
I won't watch game 4 so we can win.
DERECK LIVELY 3-BALL. YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT. pic.twitter.com/GmPwAZuNHx

Think they put up a stat that this is only the third team down 3-0 in the finals to win game 4? New York Knicks in 1951 and Cavs in 2017? Knicks forced Game 7. So I'm saying there's a 50% chance the Mavs force Game 7.

That looks like it is essentially a designed play for Lively. Lively goes to the corner and Mavs have everybody else cleared out and the Mavs knew Tatum would have to leave him open or allow Luka an easy drive. They wanted Tatum making a call on Lively.
Best part about the play is Luka didn't even have any kind of reaction to it. He's seen it a million times in practice, I bet.

Thj…5-7 from 3 for 15 pts in 12 mins and still only a +6, in a game we won by 40. That's the dude summed up in a single box score.

I thought all of Luka's fouls were fouls in game 3. The last one was close. If it was called a charge on the court then it would have stayed a charge. It was tough, but reasonable.
I do agree with you that he doesn't get the same whistle when he is shooting. That's his gripe 99% of the time. He's fine with being called for fouls as long as they are calling the same when he has the ball.
My friend and I have been wondering for 3 years now when Luka will start to get a superstar whistle.
I know the league has cleaned up a lot of the BS in the last few months, but if he got the same whistle 2019 James Harden did, then Luka would have probably averaged 40 points this year.
Luka Doncic called for the foul on Jaylen Brown 😳 pic.twitter.com/bqQ3tFcudd

I genuinely hate making the “Dallas vs Refs” excuse, but the officiating has most definitely been as one-sided as it can get…

This “illegal screen” on PJ Washington shouldn’t be called in crunch time of the NBA Finals. pic.twitter.com/FgtWgZsriR
The way the game was called at the beginning of Game 3 and the end was night and day.

By end of game criteria White could/should've have 2 fouls in the first quarter. Compared to same on ball pressure fouls late, and that key PJ off foul on screen in the clutch. pic.twitter.com/v8tmC7IQeY
