Yeah, I cannot fathom why you go THJ over Hardy once Luka fouled out. Gets you a 2nd creator on the floor vs a guy that can only create a homeless shelter with all the bricks he puts up

19 minutes of a boat anchor that did nothing on offense and very very little on defense. Why in the hell did Kidd think the path to victory was to play THJ for half the game? Maybe he thought that Jr wouldn't get in foul trouble because he was just going to hang out around the side of the court and not get involved in the game.

It's worse because Maldy at least "handled the pitching staff" or whatever Astros people said about him. THJ doesn't even provide a positive on defense. A vast negative on defense who is supposed to be good at offense but the offense hasn't been good for months.

I give Kidd a ton of credit for handling the star personalities in the room and getting them this far, but sometimes there is some seriously wtf stuff like that where I'd love to hear the logic. Is some ******* with a computer feeding you metrics that this is somehow a good idea? If it is, I think his Excel crashed. Have you lost the power of eyesight?

His money being expiring next year is an asset. So Mavs are actually in a decent spot to upgrade. Both addition by subtraction and also could get some addition by addition.

My bad yall. I watched 1 quarter of this game and it was the 3rd quarter. The 3 quarters I didn't watch, the Mavs were the better team.

Lively and Irving coming to life tonight was what we needed to make this a series. THJ walking around for half a game is disgusting. Put in just about anyone else on the bench and it would have been better. (Hardy would have been my choice because he would have at least been active)

The problem is this was noticeable 3 years ago. When he isn't on one of his month long heaters, he is one of the worst players in the league.
We kinda tolerated him as fans because we were a slightly above mediocre team that made our hay shooting 3s and playing no defense. THJ is a decen guy to have on a team that doesn't expect to compete for championships and also just wants to huck 3s.
Also, THJ was injured during the whole 2022 playoff run. Coincidence?
