Neither is a starting PF. Neither is a starting PG. Neither is a backup PG.
We need at the very least one more ball handler. White and Murray both have a not great injury history and neither is an ideal point. Plus we lose Patty and DeMar.Enzo The Baker said:

I agree. But I just have a feeling we are going to give our guards space and hope they can develop. We might get a veteran back up or 3rd string but that's it.
I think the Spurs are an ideal fit for Simmons. Just not for near what Morey thinks Simmons is worth.Enzo The Baker said:

Spurs were widely believed to be a landing spot for Lauri Markkanen. Now they've signed McDermott and Collins to substantial deals. They had plenty of cap room but not sure it makes sense for him there now.

They have Hunter, Bogdan, Reddish, Heurter at wing. Edit: I'm sure we are still working on options involving DeMar. We want to do him right.

It kinda makes me think we're waiting to see what Collins will do, and if doesn't sign with us then we'll work a sign and trade with Chicago.

I'm down even if it means giving up a future heavily protected first, but the Spurs would have to send someone else back to Atl to make salaries work, right?? Especially if Collins is maxed
