Rudy Gay May be another year away from Achilles injury but...he also is going to be 33 years old with a repaired Achilles. Seems more likely soon you may start seeing declines in his play at this point than any bounce back season.

Summer league performances, count me as an NBA fan who doesn't put much stock, pro or con, in what happens there. If you are counting on contribution of some kid who has done nothing in NBA but had a good summer league, seems dicey to bank much on that.

Aldridge is turning 34 though it seems like his game is the type that will age okay. Honestly, if I was the Spurs, I'd consider trying to trade him while he still has some value.

Murray seems to have some nice pros, but if I recall is a really questionable 3-point shooter.

Gay put up 14/7/3 on 50/40/80 shooting last year. He doesn't rely on explosiveness like he used to, so I see him putting up similar or even better numbers this year, assuming Carroll doesn't take away too many of his minutes. I don't think anyone expects Gay to be the player he was back in the day, but he's going to still put up solid minutes as a ~4th option player.

I don't think anyone really wants a big, slow, old post player. LMA's value isn't particularly high, but he certainly isn't off limits.

Murray has spent the last year working on his shot with Chip. He didn't have the range before, but they believe he has really done a good job of extending his range.

Agree on Summer League performance, but a good summer league performance is certainly better than a ****ty one. He played well in G League last year, too. I think he is expected to be a scoring bench player to run with Patty and the 2nd team. He does have some great moves.
