lol it's weird to compare Ryno to Melo, but the fact both names are being mentioned does not bode well for any aspect of Melo's game
No, but they're probably going to play a similar role on this team.k20dub said:

If that's true, then we will struggle to even make the WCF. With the loss of Ariza.Farmer1906 said:No, but they're probably going to play a similar role on this team.k20dub said:

We are talking about James Ennis here, not Melo......AG@RICE said:He looked like it yesterday. Also, last year anytime we played the Thunder I was happy to see him on the floor. I knew we were getting an open 3 on Anthony's man every single time....the Pels saw that too.Hickory High said:H_Aggie said:He's not a journeyman have you seen his career history?Hickory High said:H_Aggie said:ok doesn't really look like it. Who is this Enis guy he looks a dude at the YMCA playing.
He's a solid player.
Well I don't know what to tell you. He's definitely not that.
I'm saying he's definitely not a "scrap heap guy"
Carmelo is the same liability that Ryno was last year. I'm not sure why you all think he is any better than that. He is more or less the same shooter and he has the same defensive shortcomings. My only hope was that Melo would be an upgrade in the rebounding department where Ryno was a weak defensive rebounder and a slightly above average offensive rebounder. After watching Carmelo in the preseason and last night, I think it is clear that he won't be an upgrade in any department except for long 2s...which Ryno doesn't take.
What about vs TOR, LAC, or GSW? We gave up 129, 128, and 124 points in double-digit losses. 2/3 we let them shoot 53% and 56%.WES2006AG said:
After having some time to think about it I think the most concerning thing about last night is what rvk pointed out. We didn't look that bad at any time last year.
Hopefully it is just our new players getting used to each other because we looked like a below average team with those guys last night.

They are functionally the same shooter in our system. Ryno is actually a better shooter.k20dub said:

Maybe the Pels are just the greatest offensive team of all time. They dropped 149(!) on the Kings tonight.
