2) Thinks Chris Paul stays in Clipperland. He has been showing interest in other teams like Spurs and Rockets but Windhorst thinks just too much money at stake by Paul for him to leave as long as Clippers give him what he wants. Thinks Griffin would stay too if the Clippers offered him a long enough deal. Says Reddick is definitely gone.

Some people were actually saying that Phil did that just so he could be fired and walk away with some money, rather than stepping down on his own.

So if Boston pulls off getting Paul George and Gordon Hayward to Boston to join Isiah Thomas and Al Horford, then there will be two 'super teams' in the East in Cleveland and Boston. Cleveland at that point presumably stands pat with LeBron, Irving, and Love and then hopes Wade and/or Carmelo gets bought out to add one of those guys cheap.

I'm not sure Cleveland beats Boston with that team unless they somehow add Melo.

With CP3 and other moves made...current rankings in West? Assuming Hayward leaves...

I wouldn't put the Rockets over the Spurs yet, even with the CP3 deal.

It will change when the Spurs add some player which will eventually happen, but America loves rankings and wants them now!

Dude went crazy and this offseason has now become the Daryl Morey show.

If that happened that could really change things. Maybe that would incentivize Hayward more to stay in Utah (by adding Irving and removing the possibility of playing with George in Boston). Then Boston could very well walk away from this offseason with no max players.

Apparently Cleveland tried to trade Kyrie to Phoenix for #4 and Eric Bledsoe, and #4 was going to be flipped for Paul George.

LeBron won't commit to being in Cleveland long term.

I guess the Cavs really can't get rid of Love. I can't see how giving up Kyrie to get PG13 will help them.

If Kyrie goes to the Jazz and Hayward stays there because of it, that team would be fun to watch.

Cavs dont need a point scoring first point guard who is bad at defense. Obviously he is more attractive as a trade piece than Love and i think its clear they can have both spending the majority of the game on the court together and have any semblance of defense. I think George's athletism and defense would be an upgrade over what they are getting from Kyrie. Maybe if that trade went thru they could have tried to swing a deal for Beverly for Bledsoe. He would be perfect for what the Cavs need.

It will be real interesting to see what happens to Utah this summer.

Potential retaining or losing of Gordon Hayward and George Hill. Retaining them both means they probably change very little with little cap room to spare. Losing them both means they could release Boris Diam (Fully unguaranteed $7.5 million until July 15th), which means a lot of cap room, but less to attract players.

I could definitely see Hayward getting the max, staying there, and trying to get others to stay, but Boston/Miami is appealing too.
