It's brilliant basketball by both teams. GS is just better. Unless they go ice cold or LeBron goes insane I don't think the Cavs can win.


What might be interesting is if the Cavs do grab this game if GS starts to show nerves. Blowing it last year is always going to be in their minds.

Okay so LeBron is in full Beast Mode scoring 27 points in first half and Kyrie Irving scores 17 with several circus shots. Cleveland fans are screaming and Cavs trying to get physical including Shumpart punching Curry in the balls.

And Draymond Green has his usual meltdown and gets a technical.

against any other team in NBA Cavs would be leading (probably by double digits) at halftime. But what does all of that net for the Cavs? They are only down by six at halftime.

Cause Curry, Durant , and Thompson made about 12 threes in the first half between them.

LeBron gonna have to score 60 points in this one to *maybe* give himself a chance. Or at least to only lose by single digits.

Warriors are the best pure shooting team that I have have watched personally as an NBA fan (since late eighties). Ridiculous how they rain threes.

I just don't know why CLE is shooting so many 3s. Especially quick 3s. They can get that shot anytime.

Nobody thinks they can win a shootout against literally the best shooting team of all time. Yet here we are at 67-61 at half. Slow the game down. Take the first high percentage shot you can. Not just the first open look.

Love, Thompson, Jefferson, Williams, Shumpert, and Korver are a combined 1/11 at half.

His bad fouls, technical, air balls, but yes he did have 7 assists which isn't hard when curry Thompson and Durant are shooting lights out.

Silver's job is to promote the league. Of course he'll say that the league is perfect and competitive.

But behind closed doors he knows that this is really screwed up and imbalanced. The problem is getting the players union to agree to tighter cap rules which would cost them money. The players run the league.

CLE tried to kill clock too much and got out of rhythm the last 90 seconds. You can't afford multiple scoreless possessions with a 5 point lead against the Warriors. They'll beat you every time.

Great game tonight. A real shame Cleveland had a meltdown in the last minute. That being said, if this dominance can stop people from c***ing over how great of a commissioner Adam Silver is and he starts having heat on him for how imbalanced the league is, then I'm all for it.

GSW has paid luxury tax once - 2016. They won't owe this year. If they can stay under it next year, they are golden... so to speak. Repeater tax only kicks in if you owe tax 3x in 4 years.

Silver should have made a better case for implementing the new salary cap instead just mega Capspace for all.

ABC/ESPN can't be too excited about the current state and future of this tv deal.

I understand the appeal if these types of playoffs to the casual fan and the bandwagon types, but part of the appeal of sports is competition and the unpredictability of outcomes.

The Celtics and Lakers weren't combining to lose only 1 game on their road to the finals.
And in the finals nether team ever swept the other in such decisive fashion.

This has been the most predictable season and barring major injuries both these teams will return next year for a similar outcome.
