I am done with these classless San Antonio Spurs fans. San Antonio is a one horse town.

The problem with the Spurs is that the only part of their team that is truly easy to hate is POP and his SJW tendencies. Maybe Manu's flopping, but its calmed down in his old age.

Parker, Manu, Kawhi, Mills, Green.. all pretty humble and seem like good dudes.
Aldridge - dirty sip, but still a pretty chill dude.
Simmons? I want to hate him. But I cant. He came from nowhere, plays his ass off, and backs up his attitude with his play.
Gasol? Someone had to take up with Tim Duncan "I've never fouled anyone" O-face. But I certainly cant hate him for it. Every player *****es about calls.

Seriously.. can yall trade for Lonzo Ball or something? I'm tired of yall being the nicest team and still winning.

Yeah I can't stand Pop and the way that everyone has elevated him to God level in their minds. Spurs do something good: "see that was just all Pop right there". Kawhi saves the spurs half the time by his own will power. And yeah, Pop's political views are also annoying af. Everyone else on the team is fine.

I mean, Pop hit the lotto with Duncan, obviously, but it takes more than one player to win it all. He kept SA in the title hunt for damn near 20 years without any major free agent acquisitions and an owner that refused over and over to pay luxury tax (he traded Scola to save ~2mm dollars.) His biggest FAs have been LaMarcus (giant bust) and Brent Barry at 33 years old as backup that never played 22mpg for a season.

He's also been on the front line of a lot of NBA theories. He went after the corner three way before the rest of the league. He put dedicated scouts in Europe to find diamonds in the rough. He's kept a top 3 defense for 16 of the last 20 years.

The man is pretty unquestionably been a god in the NBA. Over the last 50 years, the only coach to have more titles is Phil Jackson and Phil had the benefit of the GOAT+top 25 player ever (according to Simmons) on one team and two top fifteen players of all time on the other team and all those guys were in their prime. Pop only had one all-time great in his prime at a time for any of his titles (Robinson was a 15/10 player in 99, 8/8 player in 03.)

So yeah, Pop pretty much deserves the praise he gets. I understand not liking his social comments, but I also realize that he is catering and appealing to black men in their 20s. Mizzou's coach also supported their players boycotting a football game even though that whole situation was idiotic.
