I guess choking in the clutch against the Spurs again is better than not playing when you are hurt.
33 pts on 15 shots with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in game 5 on the road isn't choking. He didn't finish the game, but if Anderson, Ariza, and Gordon are hitting like they're capable this game is over half way through the fourth.

SA got a flurry of points out of Danny Green late while we had untimely turnovers....difference in the game.

He took 24 shots - 15 of them from three.

4-15 from three point land.

9 turnovers.

0-4 with 4 turnovers in the last 8 minutes of the game including getting your **** packed by a guy that is about to turn 40 is absolutely choking.

JAMES HARDEN WAS COMMITTING THOSE TURNOVERS.

The difference in the game was 3 points. Advantage, Spurs. Sugarcoat it all you want.

For the record my comment about Kawhi sitting out was a joke. I do hope he makes a speedy recovery and I was happy to hear he will be back for game 6. He makes these games more exciting.

As an aside: Were they just icing his right leg during the game or what was that they were wrapping him with? I had to mute Reggie and missed it.

Looked like they were icing his right knee, but he rolled his left ankle.

Not surprised. That string of 3 or 4 offensive rebounds in OT was brutal.

They were applying heat to his thigh. Cramping, probably.

Are you guys only happy if you win based off a bad performance from Harden? I already admitted he didn't finish the game....but the fact remains we're not even in the game without him. That's not sugar coating it. You won the game, congrats. Enjoy it. If you're only happy with a win bc of Harden, then good on you.
I guess you're all butt hurt about the fact that Kawhi will finish 3rd at best in the MVP race. I get it, but you still have more to play for.

We are happy because a long time fan favorite that is clearly over the hill and no longer the player he once was made a series of huge clutch plays giving us a glimpse of the past.

Doesn't matter at all that he blocked Harden. That would have been just as clutch if he blocked Gordon and maybe more clutch if he blocked an Anderson three. But the fact that Manu was giving an incredible effort to hang with one of the best players in the NBA was heart warming for a fan base that has been cheering him on for ~15 years.

But go ahead and tell yourself whatever you need to hear to make yourself feel better.

How many points do you get for a turnover? Harden turned it over, but it wasn't a given that we were going to score, especially the way both teams were shooting in OT.

I don't have to tell myself anything, the last two pages on the Spurs thread are mostly focused on Harden.
Anyways, it's a non issue. Congrats on the win. I'm looking forward to the next couple of games.

Last two minute report.

That push off offensive foul on Harden: League ruled it was the correct call.
