Congrats guys.

I came into this series ready to talk ***** This was the matchup I truly wanted. I thought we had the team and I thought Harden was different this year.

In the end, the Spurs are everything I want us to be. A team that plays hard, never gives up, and punches adversity in the face.

I hope y'all surprise the world and destroy the team that employs one of the dirtiest players of all time. If anything, please have Simmons put his fist through the chin of Draymond.

With my tail between my legs, I leave y'all admitting that y'all are by far the better program and that I hope to experience even a fraction of y'all's success one day.

Spurs were playing with house money, and it showed. They played loose, Houston played tight.

I don't know if Harden "quit," but D'antoni left him on the bench in the 2nd when the Spurs stretched thr lead from 7 to 20, and Harden played like crap the rest of the way.

He definitely quit at the end when he fouled out on purpose, but probably quit before that

That had to be one of the most satisfying wins for the Spurs I've ever witnessed (championship close out games excluded). Watching Simmons dominate Harden was a thing of beauty.

This proves that no "offense" based on shooting 40+ 3's a game will ever succeed in the long run. That just isn't how basketball is supposed to be played.

So something was obviously off with Harden, but really the entire Rockets team except for Capella looked uninterested. Takes a little bit of the fun out of it, tbh.

I think D'Antoni made it worse though by putting Harden on seven footers. Defending much bigger players takes a lot out of your legs. I get that Harden is strong and doesn't really defend perimeter players, but that was a really dumb call.

I wasn't surprised when the Rockets came out a little bit flat against the spurs without Leonard/Parker, but I kept waiting for the Rockets to make a run and they never did.
