Great comeback and fight.

Unbelievably game! Bucks are tough & Spurs (minus Gasol) showed true grit despite having an off night shooting.

What a game. Simmons dunked one from the mezzanine. Lap dropping dimes. Dedmon on a pogo stick. Kawhi coming up HUGE in the fourth. What a game.

What makes me happy about all this? The Spurs aren't even playing that great this year and yet are 17-4.

And Lamarcus with big plays in the final 30 seconds. Good defense, offensive rebound, shot that put the Spurs ahead on a goal tending call. Awesome finish by the team.

And Bertans got ejected for shoving Greg Monroe. Didn't see that coming. I guess hes too hard core for the NBA.

That game was fantastic. Really good win. It was pretty clear during that 2nd quarter that the length and athleticism of the Bucks was really bothering us. It was almost as if at halftime they decided to not let it bother them and just go out and play. That was really fun.

Also, F those refs man. The 3rd quarter was a joke. Bucks in the bonus with 8.5 minutes left allowing them to shoot 17 free throws in the quarter! At 1 point in the 2nd half the Bucks had a 24-4 ft advantage.

Anyway, pretty nice win. Really nice contributions from lots of guys: Dedmon, Niko, Simmons, Pau, and Kawhi & LaMarcus closing it out down the stretch. And Bertans getting ejected! That was hilarious.

Its funny. This team is not clicking at all right now but they are tough. If anyone was watching a few nights ago the Bucks brought the pain to Cleveland and wooped em pretty good. That Bucks team has a bunch of size and athleticism. Earlier in the year Utah did a number on Spurs using the same formula and they turned around and got them back at their place. There's a lot of pride in that Spurs locker room.

I have no idea these guys are going to be able to accomplish in the playoffs but they will probably get a 2 or 3 seed. If they can ever get any sort of offensive rhythm they could be a threat.

And we were shooting like crap. I remember at least three air ball 3's in the first half. I even thought to myself if the Buck's home court basket was 4 inches off from the rest of the NBA baskets.

There was a lot of speculation by the media over the summer that the Spurs were going to pursue CP3 or Steph hard this off season. They were pursuing Conley over the summer, but they smartly did not want to offer max money for him, nor should they have.

If Curry or CP3 wants to make a move, you take those players without question. Either one of them, paired with Kawhi and LMA, make the Spurs one of the only 2-3 contenders. I think they are both still worth max money, too.

As far as Tony, I think you just have to get real honest with him and explain how lethal the team could be with him running the bench unit. He's played all these years with Manu, so he has seen first hand how having an unselfish veteran running the second unit can put a team way over the top.

Great win. Kawhi and Patty are doing some great things out there. Looks like Bertans found himself in Pop's doghouse for the shove on Monroe - I wonder how long that'll last.

Looking forward to watching them go for 14-0 in Chicago on TNT with Chuck and Shaq

First game I've watched this year and we look like total garbage. Clanging so many wide open looks

Terrible game all the way around. Refs tried to help out for a bit, couldn't stop turning it over and couldn't get rebounds late.

I thought the refs were pretty bad. I don't think the FT numbers always need to be about the same, but 5 FTAs in 48 minutes means the refs missed a lot of foul calls. No team plays defense that cleanly.

I sometimes wonder what the refs are watching. Wade was getting some phantom calls and no Spur could get any call. Very strange game where the Spurs couldn't hit the rim in the first half. They've done that a couple of times this season setting lower and lower records for scoring quarters. I'm still not sure what to make of this team. Go on a drought against GSW and you'll be down 30.

Had plenty of chances in the 4th to get it closer than 4 but shots couldn't fall

There was a stretch where Patty should have turned it over twice in the same possession but somehow was called a tip and off a bulls player when it should have been back court and out off patty. We maybe didn't get the ftas but when we were down big some things did go our way.

Honestly, I really don't care about a December NBA game, but Chicago got some serious home cooking in that game last night. I thought the officiating was blatantly bad. Not making excuses for this team because they have looked like crap at points this season but I didn't like the officiating at all last night and I think Pop should have saved the "come to work" card for later. JMO

Lamarcus really been playing lazy

Not really an excuse, but it was their third road game in four nights. Also, it's December. I would have a hard time giving a **** about an Eastern Conference game at the end of a road trip before the All-Star break as well.

There are a lot of things wrong with this team right now. The slow starts are absolutely killing this team. Lamarcus has been just awful offensively. He was 5-15 for 10 points last night. One of those was an unguarded alley oop so let's just call it 4-14 shooting. Teams are definitely starting to expose our defense by parking whoever Kawhi is guarding in the corner and running the offense 4v4. Really frustrated me last night. Takes his defense completely out of the game in the half court.

I was at the Chicago game last night. Man did we look uninspired. It's December so not exactly worried, but LMA really looks soft. His game just doesn't seem to fit at times

Said this 4 posts up. Statistically the Spurs are worse with Kawhi on the floor. The Clippers used this strategy to perfection weeks ago and Chicago was effective with it too.

I've been watching this too. It's not just that they are keeping Leonard out of the play though. They are also attacking gasol, knowing he's too slow and uninterested to do much about it.

I've more or less decided that the right basketball move is to put Dedmon into the starting lineup. He might get pulled early to avoid foul trouble, but 4v4 when two of the four are gasol and parker (and the third is an Aldridge who hasn't exactly been working hard on defense) is a death sentence in the playoffs.

It's either that or gasol needs to really dedicate himself to being more of a presence on defense. I know they've experimented with zones and "switch everything" defenses, but those don't work against the clips/warriors. The zone because they shoot and pass too well, the switching because Gasol is too easy to exploit. Gotta have mobile bigs for that.
