Literally the silliest post I have read in a long time. So if the Thunder win the championship this year it was all because the Spurs taught them how to play as a team during the playoffs? Just give props to the Thunder and move on. It just wasn't the Spurs year. And this coming from someone who is not a Westbrook fan at all.
Your post is silly.
Look at the mavs series and the regular season. It was durant Westbrook show, not closing games out and blowing 4th quarter leads. All of that changed during the Spurs series. I have to think that without changing the way they played during that series and getting others involved they would not have won. So because of the team the Spurs were and the team the thunder were they had to change to win that series. So yeah the Spurs were a good test that forced a culture change in the thunder and got them to where they are now.
I remember the 30 for 30 on the Pistons they gave credit to the Bulls. They said without the Bulls they would not have won the championship.
