Saw a tweet that said we go from Jet/Prig at PG for the playoffs to Lawson/Bev

Major upgrade, if his head is screwed on straight. I'd like to think that going to a competitive team will recharge his batteries and attitude. No big losses amongst those traded.

So now the roster should be:

Harden/(Brewer)/Thornton
Ariza/(Brewer)/McDaniels/Dekker
Motiejunas/Jones/Harrell
Howard/Capela

Possibly adding Jason Terry and Chuck Hayes as veteran bench players

I'll do it for only 1% of his 2015 salary -- a cool $116,000.

I think Lawson will end up as our 6th man (but get starters minutes). His game is very similar to Harden's and it would be nice to offset their minutes a little.

Imagine him and Brewer coming off the bench 6 minutes into the game...

It is a blessing to even be able to have a debate over who should start between Bev and Lawson after going through what we did in the playoffs. I still would like to see them add Terry as the 3rd wheel. I think his presence did a lot for us last year throughout the season.

Edit to add: I still can't believe K-Pap, Prigioni, Dorsey, and Johnson + a lottery-protected 1st in 2016 was enough to get Ty Lawson + 2017 unprotected 2nd rounder from Denver. You may say there is a little risk associated with the off-court troubles, but if for some reason it didn't pan out you basically gave up zilch. Nothing will probably ever come close to the shag job Morey pulled over on the Thunder to get Harden, but I hope this deal pays off pretty nicely.

I'll be interested to see the rotations where Lawson and Harden are not on the floor at the same time...but at least one of them needs to be on the floor at all times. There were too many awful starts to quarters when Harden was resting and there wasn't any reliable scoring threat from the backcourt.

Sounds like Chuckwagon will be back.
