Lawson will get starters minutes whether he actually is in the starting 5 or not. It makes sense to have him come off the bench since we need either he or Harden on the court at all times, plus their defensive deficiencies.

At the beginning of last season, I thought the Rox would be a high-40s win team.
The amount of turnover has been staggering. There is no one left from the 2011-12 roster, and only Harden is left from the opening game lineup from 2012-13.

One more tidbit: Sources say Lawson has agreed as condition of trade to make the final year of his contract -- 2016-17 -- non-guaranteed.
That gives Houston the option of keeping Lawson at his current set salary for 16-17 if things work out, or letting him walk if they don't.

Hopefully he'll get in a little better shape. When Toronto played here this past season, he looked like Ickey Woods from the Geico commercial.
A side note, but I don't think I've heard a crowd get as excited for a triple double as it did when the Chuck Wagon got one about 5 years ago.
At least the players know who the real MVP is
