Speaking of bizarre, it is now being reported that Reggie Williams has a guaranteed deal, meaning the Spurs already had 15 guaranteed deals before signing Fredette.

Scrimmages: good clean fun for the entire fambly to enjoy.

6 of the first 8 games are on the road, fortunately they're against some easier teams with the exception of OKC on opening night.

March is going to be a tough month - a 5 game home stretch in the middle of the month with games against Chicago, OKC, LAC, Portland, Golden State and then they have Memphis, OKC, Memphis, and New Orleans to end the month.

April won't be much better with games against Toronto (meh), 2 - GS, OKC, and Dallas.

I'd say its a 4 team race and if I were going to narrow it to 3, I'd replace OKC with LAC. The Thunder haven't been healthy in forever. It's been what, 3 years since Ibaka had a meaningful season? KD and Westbrook won't carry them past the other top 3 teams in the league.

I'm not ultra confident with this prediction, but I expect OKC to crater. Westbrook spent the few months that Durant was injured with ESPN kissing his ass for the crazy stats he accumulated every game (a period during which he had freaking outrageous usage numbers due to him basically ignoring his teammates). I can't see him going back to sidekick at this point. Not after he spent such a long time as "the man" and got to do whatever he wanted every game.

Not sure how he'll fare with a coach that insists he run a system either.

I don't know when I've anticipated the start of a season more. Maybe Michael Finley's first season. Maybe 2014 just because I wanted to get that last loss off my mind. But I don't think so.

I got tired of being disappointed by aggie and cowboy football that I don't get as excited anymore. I watch all the games but look forward to basketball season more each year.
