Not sure exactly what you want to know but the room exception is $2.814M next year with a maximum 4.5% raise and a maximum of two years in length.

So technically it could be worth a total of 2 years / $5.75M total. Most have assumed and reported that this will go to Manu with year 2 being a player option. BUT with the newly discovered cap space of around the same amount, I'm beginning to wonder if the Spurs just sign Manu outright with the cap space and save this for someone else. We should know fairly shortly.

He wasn't signed today he was traded with a year remaining on his contract.

Yea not sure why we'd cut him. He doesn't light the world on fire in those highlights, but he's looks competent with the ball, can score a bit, doesn't turn the ball over, and we're getting him for under 1 mil. I mean that's a homerun as far as a 3rd string PG goes.

After the Aldridge/Duncan signings and the McCallum trade it looks like the Spurs have around $1.8-$2.0M in cap space right now.

We'll see if they end up trying to fit one more guy in with that $ or go ahead and just sign Green/Leonard/Manu/West and start filling the last few spots with minimum deals.

The high low game with those two is going to be fun to watch. You can't double down and leave LAM open because he is great in the midrange as is West. With the ball movement that Pop demands there should be a lot of open looks for guys now because you no longer have a center on the court that is non existent outside of 3ft.

Spurs have been linked to Serbian C Boban Marjanovic. He's 7'4 and huge. For the minimum I guess it could be worth a shot.

He averaged 17 points 11 boards in the Euroleague last year.

Euroball has confirmed that Euro Center of the Year Boban Marjanovic has a deal with the Spurs.

On the plus side, he appears to have a standing reach of approximately 9'11. On the minus side, he appears to need every inch of it to touch the rim. He's a good 1/3 more athletic than the Easter Island head the Mavs drafted.

Obviously huge, has a nice touch around the rim (obviously), soft jumper and good passer.

Guy is slow but I have definitely seen slower. He moves pretty dang good for his size. Will be interesting to follow his development.

After a quick Google search, my first thought was "The Spurs signed Lurch to be our backup center."
