Complete utter BS in my opinion if he signs with the Suns. They have nothing better to offer him that the Spurs can't. Spurs have rings and W's. Suns are 185-229 over the past 5 seasons. Good freaking gosh man, what the hell? If he picks them, I will royaly be pissed off
I don't see what Phoenix offers him that he didn't already have in Portland. Weird if he goes there.
For the record, I think he should pick SA easily. But Phoenix does have a true center, arguably better PGs, and a lot more youth.
Spurs > Suns. End of Story. Spurs are the proven winners. Suns haven't done anything. Ever.
I might be a little bias but there is no way in hell anyone will convince me that going to Phoenix is better than going to SA. The Spurs are consistently one of the best teams every year. The have won 50+ games a year for 16 years in a row. They have the best coach in the game. They have the best PF, still dominating kids after 18 years. I wouldnt be surprised or mad if it was just a 3 year deal with the Spurs so that way if he didn't want to stick around post no timmy, he doesn't have too. LA will do what is best for him, but for the next couple of years, if I want a legit shot at a ring, I'm going with the silver and black

I agree with you, but he's been pretty adamant against playing C, and the Spurs don't have a true C anymore. Plus no one really knows how much longer Timmy, Manu, Parker, and Pop really have left (or in Parker's case, how many good years he has left). I'm not saying I agree with it, but that could be his motivation.
I'll give you the youth, but better PGs? No thanks I'll still take TP/Mills over Bledsoe/Knight. Sure they might be younger but what have they done in the playoffs? Not a whole lot. Chandler is a decent Center, and right now the Spurs are hurting at that position. But I'd assume if LA came, TIMMY would play the 5.

Which is why, IMO, he could sign a 3 year deal and after a couple of years be somewhere else. I guess I'm looking at this different but I just really want him in SA.

Definitely no hard feelings because I agree with you. If LMA went to San Antonio, they'd easily be one of the top 2 contenders in the West IMO. Phoenix may have "potential" but SA is a sure thing. Don't think he should pass that up just so he doesn't play C.
