Are you sure? Maybe I was thinking we had one before the one we took after Paul hit his shot. My bad if so.
quote:Sorry dude, but if you can't see the different level of play from this series from the regular season you're lost. The Clippers played lights out. The Rockets have no shot at a championship. The series against the macs was a ****ing joke. Terrible basketball being played every possession. It looked like an all star game where noone played a lick of defense.
What's the rockets record against the clippers this year?
quote:Someone else said we had one. I guess I'm wrong. In that case, you're right, although the 2nd attempt of the play Belli was WIDE OPEN.

quote:
We had one left
I was shocked Pop didn't call it
After all that crap, you would think to call a timeout
He may have been so pissed he didn't think about it
quote:
I'm so glad the Spurns lost. Nice run. But it's over.

I didn't think one team could take two time outs in a row without a play happening.

Anti-Spurs trolls aside, it's been a helluva ride growing up with the Duncan/Big3 Spurs. Wish this year ended differently, but most of us have gotten to witness our hometown team win the ultimate prize 5 times. That's something that some fans never experience once.
Celebrate this Spurs team and franchise.
Go Spurs Go.

Take your trolling to your own threads. Oh. And win a championship in this millennium before you start talking smack after one playoff series win.
*and I am totally assuming you're a Houston fan. If you're a Dallas fan, I don't think you have much room to talk either.
I guess the moderator is a Spurns fan? Geez. I have posted a lot more controversial stuff on the politics board. 12 years on this board and my first ban. Haha. Sorry your team lost. Just having a bit of fun and glad the Spurns lost so the Rockets don't have to play them in round 2.
Lighten- up mr mod.

I really thought they would say it was an Incorrect call on the 2-minute report because I thought they were calling the high-five up top. However, they ruled it was contact down low.
They judged the whole last 2-minutes to be correctly called. Which, I'm still not sure on.

Did they ever come out with the Game 6 one? I haven't seen it if so.
quote:I don't know that players are underrated due to Pop's system or the media market. Kawhi just won DPOY. But a lot of players have looked good in SA and turrible other places b/c Pop designs a system that can maximize their good and minimize their weaknesses.
Question for the fans of the Spurs:
Because of the greatness of Pop & his offensive system, do you think players are generally underrated on a national level?
Or maybe players are just undervalued because of the media market? Or both? Or neither?
quote:I think the big 3 were undervalued. I think our role players are maybe slightly overvalued by other teams. Pop is able to take guys who are good at a few things and make them great at those things, while hiding what they aren't good at.

quote:Some truth to this but Green is different. He's one of the best perimeter defenders in the entire league. Neal is one of the worst perimeter defenders in the entire league.
Blair and Neal should both be cautionary tales for any team wanting to throw huge dollars at Green. Blair in particular wanted out of San Antonio because he didn't believe he was playing enough. Wonder what he thinks now?
