I think there are 3 options. Well 4, if you consider the status quo an option.

1. This 6 yard box rule being discussed (stupid)
2. Move the "corner" kick so that it is even with the 18 yard box or something similar, which allows the defense to set an offside line instead of a hard 6 yard box rule (also stupid)
3. Clamp down on the grabbing and shirt pulling like FIFA did during the last World Cup

3 seems the most "reasonable", but there will be an adjustment period with a crazy amount of penalties until teams adjust. And then once they do, maybe attacking teams will rely even more on corners if they feel they can't be defended properly?

It's not worth engaging them, but the Man United fans, and others, here and elsewhere claiming that the Saliba/Bayindir incident at the start of this season is "the same" are just wrong.

They are definitely not, which does not mean the Saliba incident should or should not have been a foul, but they are definitely not "the same."

Yep. In that case no grab of keeper. In fact Saliba is well within the rules to try and get position under the ball.

The problem with three is that it will be a "big change" and they'll punish Arsenal two or three times early in the season and then drop the whole idea altogether.

Love his potential but the current OM manager has alluded to him having attitude/effort issues. Can't help but wonder if that was part of the reason he wasn't getting playing time with us. I don't wanna see him go but if there is an issue and we can get 50m+ it might be worth moving on.

I saw that, but saw sprain referenced in an article as well. Could be premature though. Hopefully a sprain or minor tear at worst. I'm sure he's out of the WC either way, which sucks. But, at least he shouldn't miss any of early next season in EPL

Pretty impressive. I know we complain about VAR times a lot, but they unpacked it pretty quickly. Hell the VAR says possible foul on GK before the ball is even in the back of the net.

Frankly, the more interesting one is the Sesko handball and how closely the VAR was trying to go frame by frame to see if there was a fingernail on the ball…that felt like VAR starting to push the boundaries of "clear and obvious" but ultimately holding back.

For GK's (regardless of team), I prefer the neons (green, yellow, blue, pink) and if you insist on a dark color go with black. Those generally guarantee the GK stands out from both teams.

Feel like a light grey won't stand out as much and will mildly clash/blend in with our home kit. I'm ok with wild patterns but I want to see wild colors too. Our primary kit colors next year are red, navy & light yellow/gold. Give me a GK kit with primary neon green then neon pink as the alternative. Maybe this or a black as the 3rd.

We're in NYC for the weekend and Adidas has the authentic kits from this year on sale. Away was $50 and home is $75.

Also the Adidas world cup kits are so much better than the Nike ones

Bought my kid some knockoff WC kits for England (Rice), USA (Pulisic) and Portugal (Ronaldo). While they are knockoffs they are still the same pattern. The Nike ones (England & USA) have terrible collars. The hole is HUGE.
