No, only the first 4 seeds host! So the top 16 overall 
our RPI before the week was 22!! So it'll require a huge jump and the committee loving us, maybe a 5 seed is possible, with 7 being the floor! I think if we got the 5 we can beat the 4 seed in the second round if the matchup is right and get into the sweet sixteen but that'll be a tough task, but possible!

Duke is in the Final 4 with a coach who has announced his retirement and his replacement is on the roster working already.
UNC is in the Final 4 with an interim head coach.
Meanwhile, A&M has a lame duck head coach that will be in Cary watching all of it and probably trying to hire a primary assistant for next season and trying to recruit new players who know he won't have a job when he's talking to them.

That's where Armstrong cut his teeth as an assistant, makes sense to go back after his mentor retired. You'll never get the funding/support at State needed to build a program.
Auburn did what most of us would have been thrilled with
Looks like Miss State promoted Nick Zimmerman to head coach also. He's on the original Hot Board list in the OP and we would've taken him in a heartbeat as well

If the girls that were mentioned leave, what scares me is the back line because you'd have to replace Calzada, Armenta, both Matula's and even Fetzer who played at the end of the season. So it's gonna be complete inexperience back there! Scoring wise you lose Wilkinson, Pante, McDonald, Lowery to graduation, Becerra, Ivey, and O'Rourke, to the portal. Also lose Pounds, Williams, and Leb in the middle.
Goalies should be okay barring injury with Fuller and Veronda. I don't know if Bella James will be healthy in August but she could be there in the back row. Don't know if Cornog would be needed in back or the middle, but hopefully she's healthy as our only other Defender returning is MC Torn who's coming off an injury as well. Up top I think we only returj Tristan Jernigan so she'll have to carry the load. Emma Yolinsky was our highest rated recruit but she too missed all of last year with injury. Brie Severn's and Kennedy Clark will have to step up into a bigger role too. Freshman wise only two recruits out of the 5 were ranked in the top 200 according to another poster. Holly Storer as a forward and Tessa Arreola as a defender, so it's safe to assume they'd have a role. But having our freshman healthy come August has been difficult lately.

Just a little digging, but I guess we did already land our first transfer! Forward Savannah Hutchins who played one year at NC State. Only played in mop up duty in 4 early non conference games. NC State won 4 games.

All Mountain West player from UNLV. UNLV site lists her as a midfielder. Stats seem to indicate an attacking midfielder.
We got a pre season all American midfielder last summer and G refused to play her
12 goals, 7 assists the past 2 years! If G doesn't start her I'm never watching a game he's coaching again
