However, Carolyn Calzada has posted her goodbye! She was an excellent defender and person the last 3 years! Might be the biggest blow, can't wait to see her thrive wherever she ends up. I'm sure every school in the nation will pursue her! She deserves to go fight for a championship more than anyone! Thanks for everything CC!

This ain't like football or baseball. If you don't maintain your season ticket in soccer it's not like there won't be inventory available when you decide to buy back in. So there is definitely the possibility, maybe even likelihood, that there is a significant decline in season ticket sales this next season. This is what's so irritating about Trev's apparent decision to keep G. It may be completely logical, but this decision clearly demonstrates his indifference to the soccer program and its fans. Consider it like this: the program and us aren't worth $250,000. That's quite a statement from our new AD.

Since this is a Hot Board thread for the coaches, Auburn's coach just retired. There's a high-level job in the SEC that will get the pick of the litter this season AFTER fall signing day. They keep the new signees, unless they ask out, but have the holiday quiet period to find a coach that will still be familiar with any transfer portal targets.

This is EXACTLY what Texas A&M should be doing right now. but alas..... March 2026 is when we'll have a chance. That's at least 6 recruiting cycles (3 portal windows and 3 youth signing days).

I assumed most of these girls were in it, I just was just keeping track of those that made it public since the girls hadn't announced it for a reason I suppose! But yeah I agree, very concerning times ahead

Some of us have chosen to stick with the program. So yes, each to his own. We are supporting the University and '25 team. If the coaches don't grip it, I hope our girls will.

O'Rourke got injured in our last match of the Spring in San Marcos, in mid-April. I know she scored goals in at least 4 of our Spring matches.

Crazy how much unraveled after that. That single injury and its aftermath demonstrated that our foundation was not built on anything too solid.

I thank them for their contributions to Aggie soccer, and I wish them success. They deserve much better coaching/development than they have received.

The portal transfers are even worse than I thought. My goodness, very few of our players even want to play for G anymore. This is just sad and an indictment of the program that G is running right now. There is just no way to justify throwing away a season just to get through a contract. You are actually doing a lot more than $300K worth of damage to the program's long term prospects and dealing the new coach a difficult hand to rebuild. I'm really disappointed with Trev.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see anywhere that someone is suggesting they won't support the team next year. Everyone is just frustrated at the events that are taking place from a coaching/administration stand point. We all stand behind our athletes and always will.

Seriously, how does G allow himself to further wreck with each passing day the program that was his life's work in the profession he loves.

Transfers of talented players and team leaders over multiple years are serious indictments of his indifference and incompetence.

Absent contrary information, one may speculate he has no pride and no shame.

I understand there were some major problems between some of the young ladies on this years squad where they just didn't get along. Seems like something from middle school but here we are dealing with it in college. As silly as it sounds, a faction may transfer out and another may stay.

I said I wouldn't post again, but had to chime in because it is simply not true that these quality players are leaving due to some factional issue. These girls have immense affection for one another, period. That's what has made it such a difficult and emotional decision for these girls (believe me, they don't want to leave). These girls adore this school, adore their teammates, and have had unlimited playing time in a program they grew up worshiping. And yet, they are all leaving (mid school year) and moving across the country in some cases (far from everyone they know and love). Ask yourself how bad things would have to get for you to do something like that when you were otherwise getting everything you ever dreamed of as a little girl…….

I'm not going to be more specific here. I was told this by someone involved daily. And no it wasn't a coach.

Not the only issue, but it was an issue worse than prior years. We had a very immature team. You could also see that in our play and effort from game to game.

These in no way lets the coaching staff off the hook. It is their job to get everyone on the same page.

I'd love to hear anyone involved be interviewed by someone in the media so we at least would have a "talking point". We have no idea what the principals in this are saying - problems, solutions, etc.

Phil
Trev
Graduating senior

I wouldn't ask any current player that could return to be out there.
