Carissa Boeckmann and Maile Hayes both earn one seeds with Florida Stats and USC, Lauren Geczik with Iowa earns a 3 seed

So these were the seniors honored on Senior Night, do any have eligibility? I know all but Wilkinson have posted a goodbye post on Instagram. That's a lot of spots to fill on a team who didn't even make the tournament…

This is embarrassing.

I know injuries happen, but this many knee injuries in such a short amount of time is insane. Is it simply bad luck, is it difficult practices, is it due to our sports performance or sports conditioning staff… so many girls are hurt, Shae O Rourke, Quinn Cornog, Maysen Veronda, Emma Hoang, Emma Yolinsky, Bella James, Reese Rupe, and we saw multiple girls miss multiple games this year like Sydney Fuller and Carolyn Calzada

These girls were amazing soccer players when brought to A&M, the question is what happened to them under this leadership and negative culture. Just a question that needs to be explored.

Your post really hits at the heart of it. Many of these players were highly recruited and could have gone most anywhere. The coaches made a clear divide in every action they took with this team, from practice to games. The players knew what was going on. They knew players who deserved playing time were benched. And it festered resulting in a fractured, non-cohesive squad.

If the coaches' tactics resulted in an winning team, we would all have to shut up. But that was not the case and it hasn't been for several years.

Add Reese Rupe to that list too.

On another note, the poster that said "all of these girls were highly recruited" (not specifically injured ones but the team in general)-- I would not necessarily say that -- a lot of "high" recruits are going elsewhere. Many of the players on this team are more local kids that G either has tight relationships w/ their HS clubs or they are kids of former players. Doesn't make them good or bad, it's just what this program has become. They are all great kids but they are not the highest of high recruits like in the past. Hence the decline in the program that Alberts seems to be oblivious to...

She could leave in the transfer portal too. Injury doesn't preclude someone from taking you if they have a spot. She couldn't have been happy with her playing time on this team.

I was hoping TA might be waiting until the official NCAA tourney bracket was picked to see if A&M missed out to fire G, but now I have little hope that we'll have a change. Not looking forward to another season of mediocrity. But that's where this road is leading.

I'd like to know who these goal scorers are lol… we lose Pante, McDonald, Wilkinson, Colvin we couldn't score goals with them, now we're supposed to rely on some unproven girls who are all coming back from knee injuries. G said in almost every interview (because he's a little girl who needs to make excuses and can't take accountability) but which one of these girls who were hurt are going to elevate this team. We're losing 10 girls to graduation, who knows how many we lose to the portal. Aside from like 4-5 players, this is going to be the least talented team G has ever had…

Yeah in 2022 after back to back 3 win conference seasons and only one where we made the tournament (and got beat badly by tu), Bjork extended G through 2026… it's a move many AD's make and I absolutely hate it. When a coach is doing poorly and recruiting poorly, especially a coach that's older, stupid AD's give them extensions to ensure to recruits that the coach will still be here for awhile… I don't know how you extended him after the 2021 and 2022 seasons but oh well

When G got the red card...Phil took over. He immediately changed the formation in that game...which helped them earn a draw. Phil then coached the game at Arkansas. Only played 14 players, played the freshman kat campbell 70+ minutes at holding mid. Earned a draw.

G returns...Campbell goes to the bench (doesn't see the field in the 1st half), back to playing 18-19 players (this was in the SEC tournament vs Georgia). Result was a loss.

Based on this, I'm not so sure Phil was the head coach. Without G, the game was managed completely differently.

May be, but I applaud his / her tenacity. I personally love all aggie sports, including all the women's sports. It's very frustrating watching these sports fail, and nothing being done about it soon enough. Softball coach change was about 5 years too late, same for baseball. Same thing on soccer, it's been clear for years now. And very likely needs to occur for women's basketball, but guess we have to wait 2 more years on that as well.

I'm not sure if you are all aware, but G is not highly regarded outside of A&M circles. While many applaud his career they also realize he's a has been and not a threat any longer.

you're right, next year Coach G will turn this program around! Well stop being a top 70 team in the country and might crack the the top 50, maybe one highly touted recruit will consider us, maybe year 5 is when we finally have a winning sec record, silly me!

Jo Evans had 4 years of being basically retired on the job, producing little to nothing in the way of results. I guess they are going to do the same for coach G?
