This is uncharted territory. We've never replaced a soccer coach. So when does the portal close? When is signing day?

Frankly I know in the past you didn't try to,hire if the coach still had a team playing. But this is business now, screw the other teams. Time to make the move and get new staff rolling.

We need to stop playing nice, our opponents sure aren't, see what happened in baseball as prime example

Some chance he makes the field because SEC is definitely a tougher conference. But I think it's low likelihood. You still would wait. Also keep in mind there are some upgrades to facilities coming for soccer and he built the program that got the donor support from scratch. But I won't guess on that.

Keep in mind the A4 conferences have more good teams in them like Utah in Big12, Stanford in ACC, and U$C and Oregon in Big Ten as well as Texas in our conference. That means conference losses could go op even with same number of games.

You don't have to be above .500 as some have said, but you have to be at least .500.
.500 and you are eligible. We are not eligible to make the tourney this year

Very hateful greg… Sorry I want this program and team to succeed and that I am of the opinion that someone who is 14-21-9 in conference play won't get it done.

I can criticize the Coach, don't need to criticize the players because Coach G is the one who usually does that to the media

No one in the relatively small world of college soccer sports media is wasting a breath of air on Texas A&M Soccer, for the past 4 years we have been mediocre if not less than that and not so relevant in the soccer world. Much less are they paying attention to posts by someone on a fan message board who mimics the name of the 14 time Grammy winner, the 14 time number one album billboard artist, the 9th best selling musical artist in the history of music, and the beautiful artist who's 6 shows away from concluding the highest grossing musical tour in world history…

oh and especially during a tournament which we barely snuck into and were the first ones bounced from over 3 days ago

We likely would be hiring somebody who will be in the postseason and not named until after their season. So sign players and then make the move. Those players will then have the option to stay or go.
