Just waking up and for the second day in a row, I wake up to bad news. First the whole baseball coaching situation and now this...Mexico has lost.

It pains me to see good teams lose like that. I mean honestly, what team in this world is better than Mexico? They are the epitome of everything that we should want in a soccer team...no it's more than that...they are the epitome of everything that we should want in life for ourselves and for hunmanity.

Absolutely gutted to see them lose. Seriously. Honestly. No really. Absolutely gutted. Horrible thing to watch. I do not receive any joy from seeing it. Truthfully. You must believe this.

CONMEBOL released the VAR audio/video for the ECU-JAM non handling call. They said it was an error and should have been called.

Good for them and the transparency. It doesn't help Jamaica but they were fast and open about it.

Was there another one? I didn't watch the whole match and saw a penalty called by VAR against Jamaica.

There was a VAR review on a non-called handling by an Ecuadorian in the box. Stayed a non-call after review. Ball was kicked upwards by a Jamaican player and it hit the defender in the face and raised arm. To me it looked like the ball hit arm, then, face, then arm again. I think the ref missed the first arm contact. It was really fast, but should have been evident in review.
