Yeah, those are either fakes or training kits. All the Nike kits so far have had a swoosh on the right breast and the badge on the left. USMNT will I'm sure be boring and disappointing, but those aren't them. (EDIT - looks like McKennie seems to think they are the real ones... which suuuuuucks.)

The only non-negative response I have is that the hoodie is safe and uninspired.
How must it feel to be on the design team at Nike (or anywhere) and immediate widespread fan reaction to something that (presumably, but maybe not) spent months working on and endless meetings and approvals is, "This sucks"?

I just don't see how they came to the conclusion that this was a design that was going to sell a lot of units in what is the most prime market for the jersey. Most people who buy soccer jerseys for their national team want to have the WC kit. How does this design get through to approval. CC Creations makes more creative stuff than this to sell in a tent on a football Saturday.
They should have two focus groups to gain approval for any NT design. The actual core players on the team and then maybe a panel of selected fans from American Outlaws. Get any design screened and approved before mass production.

I don't feel bad for them. They did a **** job. If they tried to make a decent job, I'd feel bad, but this looks like they mailed it in.

Yeah, the sash thing is pretty divisive. (I don't like them either.)
But for the most part everyone seems to agree that 1) just stick with the colors of the flag, 2) don't go crazy with abstract designs, and 3) WALDOS (at least most people love them from what I can tell).

Geez. This really is awful. I have seen better high school uniforms. How hard is it to make a solid jersey concept? Surely it cant be that hard.

And another that wants a standardized identity that is consistent and stands out as "Oh thats the USA" on first glance. I'm pro sash but mainly because we practically established an identity with them with the 06' an 10' kits. All I want is continuity. More than happy to see that with happen with Waldos or whatever

Every year or two I'll tell myself I'll buy the next iteration of the US jersey, yet it's always terrible. The streak goes on.
