I for one am stoked on Poch staying on for another cycle (hopefully). I'm not sure what kind of outs he has if a big club comes calling, but would love to have him through 2030. We weren't going to do any better and the guys clearly love him. I was very worried about the player/manager dynamic early on because it seemed very awkward and the on-pitch results showed as much. I just think his coaching style takes a while to develop a rapport and that team was as close as any WC squad in terms of locker room dynamic that we've seen. And, now with more guys going overseas for this next cycle and getting transferred to bigger clubs within Europe....I think he'll have a lot to work with next go-round. Just please for the love of everything, get us back to a mofo'in QF!

I guess USSF needed money so they scheduled the Mexico friendly in Glendale. Wonder if it will set Poch off again about the crowds supporting the team.

I like it. Help pay for Poch and get players ready for CONCACAF competitions. We need to make sure and hire a ****ty ref that Mexico can boss around too.

if we can't get majority US fans for that game in Arizona, that's on the USSF. The Mexican SF is clearly outmarketing us and getting their folks in the stands. Having been to 15 plus USMNT games over the years, I can say their marketing for friendlies is trash. No excuses -- if we really want to level up, getting asses in seats for home games is 100% part of it.

Really awesome. Based on Fotmob stats it looks like he might play kinda like how we used Dest this WC (wide playmaking midfielder who could track back and defend if needed).



Side note… it's still stunning to me that MLS couldn't recognize that using "Real" for any city's name was a royally stupid idea.

Both guys doing well so far. Arfsten with a really good move to force a throw Boro's way early on and these Brits chanted "USA, USA" - it was awesome. Berhalter is taking corners for them on both sides.

And now Berhalter with an assist.

Arfsten taken off at 67'. Probably to allow another player to make a debut, because he'd been playing really well according to the announcer and Fotmob.

Honestly, both of them looked a cut above out there… likely because both didn't spend their month of June on the beach like most of their teammates.

I didn't like Arfsten at first for the mbt but he has grown on me. i'll be watching Boro this year.

Could've had 3 or 4 assists if his mates could finish.

those longer videos and their replies are always funny, because about half of it is also bad plays or one where nothing happens.

But I think he is legit and is proving hes not just someone that matured earlier than other kids his age.
Real interested to see where his career goes next 4 years

USMNT midfielder Malik Tillman admitted that Folarin Balogun's red card during the World Cup should've stood.

Tillman then went on to praise the atmosphere at games, and admitted it was special to play in the home World Cup.

"Of course, every team says they want to win the tournament. But our biggest goal was to change the way we look at soccer in the United States and encourage younger generations to start playing soccer themselves," he said.

"I think we've taken a big step in this. We can be proud of that."

Not gonna lie. I really enjoyed seeing Freese be all butthurt about it at the end.

I mean I can understand being pissed at a 3v2 break that started at midfield then that horrible attempt at a stab to make it a 3v1.

But I am absolutely looking forward to us finding a new #1.

Don't get me wrong… his anger is justified.

I just enjoyed seeing it.

I'm probably a bad person.
