Meh. I've never liked Dominguez. He's a diver and always looks slow to me, even with his 7 goals last season and 2 this season. Adios, mofo.

Last season agreed but he's actually been quite good this season. That said, I'm very thankful we signed Finlay in the offseason because it would've been a big step down to the next potential starter otherwise, expecting to see ***undez and Finlay starting the wings for the foreseeable future.

And yeah, I'd expect that if he's released that would open up his DP spot and the salary space (believe the DP cap hit is around 600k).

Has there been any indication yet what he's accused of doing? I know someone on Reddit said he was accused of domestic abuse in South America, but it went away. It was also mentioned that domestic abuse doesn't really fall under the category for which he's suspended.

I don't particularly care for him....but I am completely against leagues suspending players so they can investigate off field allegations. Leave the investigating to the professionals.

Yea. I haven't obviously read all of the regulations but I read somewhere that domestic issues have a separate section.

Just weird that we have not heard any details still.

Maybe they'll conduct a proper investigation before airing out allegations in public

First half was hot garbage.
Stop having 45 min stretches like that and figure out roster pieces and this team could make some noise.

And after all that, we now have to play a league game in 3 days.

Yeah, that was ugly. Really thought we were gonna pull one back that last 10 minutes. On the plus side, we got at least some rest for a handful of starters though we went with a stronger lineup than I expected.

We're still missing that true attacking threat who can isolate guys 1v1, Driussi is a star but he's more of a playmaker than a sole attacking type.

Yup, when the attack is working (like it was last night) it's night and day from last year. Defense is still a bit suspect but it's improving.

Hoping for a draw from LAFC today to keep us top of the table.

Ring is playing as more of an 8 than a 6 this season, he's shifted from the holding midfield role he traditionally plays (which is where Pereira has been starting). What's interesting is we brought in Valencia to presumably start at the 6 and Pereira hasn't given it up yet.

Fair enough. I like Ring just fine, but now that he's using one of the invaluable 3 designated player spots, I have high expectations, especially given the current deadweight that Cecilio is to the designated player limit. Anything further about his status?

Looking back, Periera actually has a lot more yellow cards than Ring (11 to 5, if the stats I looked up are accurate), but Ring leads the way with 2 Red Cards, both last year.
