the 2nd goal was nuts... defender knocks the ball out of GK's hands, Moura collects and dribbles in a fairly tight semi-circle through about 3 Ajax players and blindly shoots towards the goal through the legs of at least 1 but maybe 2 Ajax players...

That was awesome..... this is pretty cool, too. The 7+ minutes right after the end of the game shot from in that visitor section. Shows the team and coaches below them on the field.

but I haven't see this kind of reaction in the sports world to a soccer game outside of WC stuff.
And I had friends who know me but don't watch soccer pinging me about the game the last day or so out of the blue. they've heard me mention Tottenham many times but I wasn't aware that any of them cared enough to even notice. But this got their attention and they were incredulous for us. really amazing.

yeah but we have spent lot before.
with the stadium limbo last offseason was not a complete shock. but it better have been an anomaly.
I ran the numbers a while back and the influx of cash from the new stadium for 25+ home games and 25K more fans per game should be huge. Like 48M+ pounds just from tickets.
In '08 and '13 and '17 we spent over 100M pounds - with that much or more in transfers out.
holy crap!!!!..... well i love him but i don't consider him irreplaceable so if we get enough sure.
Love Hugo but he's getting older and didn't have his best season. Still has a lot of game left but I'd be ok selling high and going to get a stud youngster. Maybe the Ajax keeper, hated that guy.
I think gazzaniga is the plan and I think I'm good with that.
