We held them to 278 yards and 3-12 on third down. I get everyone is emotional and uses these threads to make themselves feel better, but the defense did more than enough to win. Good teams are going to make plays. Would you have felt better if their one long run was a long pass instead?

Can we be more multiple on defense? Will you be willing to move away from our 4-2-5 weak Eagle base? Are you willing to allow coach Hemphill to implement more zone concepts so our best athletes can play with eyes on the ball to create situations that are more conducive to creating turnovers?
Offense:
What is the basis of Coach Wiggins scheme as an OC? Are we going to be more spread and ask Marcel to be more of passer (Please No)? If so, why? Or is coach Wiggins's more willing to be a heavy RPO offense with an emphasis on more veer concepts allowing our personnel to gain an advantage in numbers vs the defense in any situation?

Before the game, what if you knew Miami was only going to score 10 points. Like York said in the presser " They only scored 10 points " This should have been a definite win , even with Miami having a good defense and the talent we have on offense.

They had 175 rushing and could have had more. The weak Eagle 4-2-5 is the problem. We get outnumbered way too much in crucial situations. And because we aren't multiple with our fronts teams eventually find the alignment that gives them that advantage. We are exclusively a match man coverage team, hence way the corners don't have any interceptions and why we were -8 in the turnover differential. Our defensive scheme is very rigid and I really hope Coach Hemphill gets more input on what our base philosophy is going forward because at James Madison he seemed more multiple both in fronts and in coverages. What coach Elko does is extremely good but it's extremely specific and specialized for certain situations and produces certain outcomes. Some variety could really sure up those nagging issues going forward.

What are you going to do to address back to back end of season collapses? Do you have a culture problem?
