IMHO, the matter is minor now. Obviously, we enjoyed the renewal of the rivalry. LSU- not so much as we developed a solid 5 win streak before they decided they were done.

They did vote for us to join the conference, along with the others, in order to increase the total number of TV sets for the new SEC Network, thereby increasing our revenues and exposure to than offset that. There actually was a settlement, albeit only a $100K, allegedly.
