That we don't send the QB our playbook like Memphis did

UTSA has an experienced QB (Owen McCown - yes he is related, Randy is his uncle) 4th yr player (orignally with Colorado) and started for UTSA last year. Also have a solid group of WR's (5 of the top 6 from last season are back). Despite having a so-so season last year (7-6 counting a bowl game win), they were 10th in the nation in passing yds for the season and 12th in total yds. It will be a good test for our secondary and will tell us a lot about whether or not we should expect to see an improvement from last year.
I don't expect that their defense will be that good though. If we are not going up and down the field on this team it's not a good sign.

Not all non-power conference games are created equal. This isn't prairie view A&M, UTSA is talented.
They are not even remotely in the same zip code talent wise as we are.
Games like this ought to be a glorified scrimmage for us. That's why we schedule them.
We have a way of making them seem otherwise, which is why people are exasperated with this program.

What do y'all need to see in game 1 of the season to be sorta impressed by this team?
Me personally I'm only looking at how well we do in the trenches. Specifically our OL. I need to see them impose their will and get good push and wear them down. I need to see our DL able to get pressure a bit.
UTSA has a good set of WRs along with a solid TE and straight gamer in McCown at QB. They had a solid passing attack that I need to see us limit in order to feel "good" about the defense.
Scoreboard needs to at least show us winning with 40+ points and holding them to 10 or less. Either way I won't start to buy in until I see what we do against ND.
What about y'all?

So we're going to beat UTSA so badly that Utah St won't even bother showing up?

Yet the Horns AND Texas State blew them off of the field in every facet of the game.
If this team can't do the same, I'll have more concerns than I would like.

No injuries...
That seems to be a consistent issue.

None of the following excuses after the game:
"It's okay, we just need to shake off the summer rust!"
"It's okay, UTSA is a dark horse to make the playoff!"
"It's okay, their QB could start on several SEC teams!"
"It's okay, we just didn't want to reveal the playbook before ND!"
Etc etc
