I was thinking the same. Just because he's in the portal doesn't mean he's gone. I doubt the coaching staff wants him gone.

He's visiting UGA now (or this last wkend) and will visit other schools. Think someone will offer enough and he's not coming back (word is he's not leaving for money as something ticked him off).

We'll see what happens.

Let's say plenty of scuttlebutt about him not being happy. Maybe with the offense, maybe with coach's honesty/assessment, etc....plenty of behind the scenes he's not looking for more money (but I'm sure if more offered, he'd happily accept it).

Think UGA sounds like they like him and are making him a high priority. Time will tell.

If he's paid any attention, Georgia's offense wasn't anything that would promote him having excellence more than A&M, if not a worse situation.

Georgia did throw for more yards than us. They have also had the opportunity to recruit basically anyone they have wanted for 7 years now. So I would sincerely hope Kirby would have more talent and a better team.

We are losing our most experienced wide receiver Noah Thoams. I think Thomas entered the transfer portal because he is upset about the increasing competition with all the wide receivers we brought in or wants to play for a CFP contender.
