It was awesome to watch Georgia hang on for a 30-15 road win at Texas to win 3 consecutive games to improve to 6-1 (4-1 SEC). As a result, Georgia snapped Texas's 6-game winning streak to hand them their first loss and drop them to 6-1. I noticed a few other trends:
1. Georgia snapped Texas' 12-game regular season winning streak by handing them their first regular season loss since a 34-30 loss to Oklahoma on 10/7/2023.
2. Georgia snapped Texas' 12-game home winning streak by handing them their first home loss since a 17-10 loss to TCU on 11/12/2022.
3. This is Texas' most lopsided loss since a 40-21 loss at Arkansas on 9/11/2021 and most lopsided home loss since a 31-9 loss to TCU on 11/25/2016.
4. Texas A&M and LSU are the only teams that remain undefeated in SEC play.
