I don't see Dabo as a lock to get the job. Sark and Kiffin will be in the mix.

I don't envy who takes it. I remember Ray Perkins succeeding The Bear and that was an impossible task.

What makes you think most of the top coaches at schools with plenty of $ really want to step into Nick Saban's shadow at Bama? They'll just use this search to get raises right where they are. I could see somebody like Kiffin taking the job, but not somebody like Kirby Smart, Harbaugh or Sark. Dabo might be in play if he doesn't think Clemson can get out of the ACC grant of rights.

They have had time to make a successful plan for the next coach. I don't know who it is but they will have big shoes to fill. Almost impossible task.

I'm glad I got to watch him coach over the years.

The only hire I'd be fearful of (and sad of because we couldnt) would be Urban Meyer.

I think he fits perfectly there. He's tainted but look at who Bama had allowed to play bball and they already have all the talent he needs. I'd think he'd minimize losses via portal and be able keep full steam ahead if they can convince him that he should entertain the thought of college football again
