The one thing keeping Texas from winning this game is Sark's play calling. As I said yesterday, Texas cannot stop the pass. But Washington can't stop the run. Sark is as stubborn as Jimbo in terms of offensive scheme. Had he just run the ball out of the gate, it would be 21-14 Texas.

Fire whoever decided to have the matchup in California between two teams who run and burn clock be the early game and the matchup in New Orleans with two spread teams who throw a lot be the late game, people have to work tomorrow

But they very easily could have been the 4th place team, as they just skirt by everyone. Tonight will have to be the same, as the dropped punt and TOD has them tied rather than up 10-14.

Different offensive play calls would have resulted in the same point total but taken 7 off the board for UW?!?

Washington has outgained Texas 305 (255 passing and 50 rushing) total yards to 213 (97 passing and 116 rushing) total yards, but the game is tied at 21 because of a muffed punt and failed 4th down conversion attempt. Otherwise, Washington would have had a 24-14 lead instead of 21-21 tie.
