The committee has said a conference championship is a primary key.

So I think they will eliminate Georgia.

Wash, Mich, FSU and then they have two 12-1 conference champs (tu & Bama) that will be very interesting how they decide between those two. Will head-to-head trump SEC >> Big 12 and Bama's loss being better then tu's loss?

You do realize they don't view this as killing the conference, right? They would view this as another playoff team joining the conference, as tu and OU basically played with SEC credits in a piss poor conference this year.

if this is what happens...

it means Bama and UGA had basically 1-game seasons

the only way either could make the CFP...was to run the table

that's giving the SEC zero margin or zero respect

I know that no undefeated team has ever been left out but, Bama and Texas both look better than fsu. Oregon has played Washington very well.

this is the last year of the 4-team playoff

it would be the time to do something crazy, since the system is being blown up for next season

Yep I realize that, and the SEC looking at $$ and championships is shortsighted IMO. The fact that tu has blown up two conferences in my lifetime is telling, and the SEC still letting them in is mind boggling to me.

Anything else is robbery, imo. Georgia, Alabama, and Texas are all 12-1. Georgia doesn't have a conference championship, and Texas beat Alabama. This isn't just who Vegas would favor; it's about what happened on the field this season.
