His offense has averaged fewer than 19 points this year.
Great idea!
Let's hire that to replace Jimbo!
Oh but 9000 people on here are blaming Jimbo/Adazzio for injuries.Quote:
To be fair they have lost 9 starters on offense to injury. Yesterday's game they started 3 Redshirt Fish and 1 true Fish.
One of a number of reasons.halfastros81 said:
I blame Addazio for several Qb injuries in the last 2 yrs , not because of injuries to his linemen but rather because he wasn't able to teach his lineman what to do and when to do it. Since Jimbo was the Hfc that hired him he gets the blame too and then he followed up by not fixing it from last season . Addazio's inability to coach got Jimbo's job imo.
So who you blaming for Ruhle's team injuries that have kept his offense from scoring 19 points per game?Quote:

And then didn't work for him his next 2 jobs, so what does that say.Quote:
Elijah Robinson worked for him in Temple and Baylor. Likelihood goes up to keep Robinson.
I've watched every game from start to finish, grueling as some of it has been.(Three 3 point losses and one 7 point loss in OT.) But, it's the first year so some pain was expected. Overall, there has been significant progress.halfastros81 said:
Not blaming anyone because I might have watched a grand total of 1 half of all of Nebraska's games all season. It's a little different in yr 6 than yr 1 too tho. Did you watch a lot of Nebraska football this year and if so what's your observation? Addazio's crew did not know their assignments
Sure you can. TexAgs is an unusual place to ask for fairness....20ag07 said:Oh but 9000 people on here are blaming Jimbo/Adazzio for injuries.Quote:

So which is it?
You simply can't fire a coach for not scoring enough points, then hire another coach who is not scoring enough points.
To be fair.
I'd give him a 7.5 to this point. That might seem high given the record but he's having to flip a culture. And from my sofa in DFW, while still a work in progress, much groundwork has been established. As an amateur coach that has built countless teams, I appreciate that more than most. If he manages to beat Iowa Friday and make the program bowl eligible for the first time in 7 years, the rating will obviously be higher.halfastros81 said:
Yes. Thanks. That's a perfect summary. Scale of 1-10 with ten being the best. How would you rank Rhule's performance this year?
