What amazes me about Corn: they haven't been to a bowl game since 2016 and yet their fans still packed their stadium to watch their 5-6 team (now 5-7); not to mention packing the same field for a Women's Volleyball game.

We like to say our fanbase loves to embrace mediocrity, I'm not sure that Nebraska isn't out doing us in that department.

he'd have better talent here but he's built the definition of an "inches short" culture at corn.

Nebraska is a historical blue blood that sells out every single game. Any good coach can walk in there and recruit. Rhule is not one of those guys. I'll pass

Look at Nebraska recruiting lately…

Not an easy place to recruit any more.

Over 1,100 players entered the portal the first day. While there may be a couple more, Nebraska had 1. Despite a 5-7 season and no-win November Rhule has stabilized the program. Looking forward to year 2 and 3.

I wish Rhule well. He turned things around at both Temple and Baylor in just a few years. If he resurrects Nebraska, even TexAgs HQ might start believing in him.

The challenge is permanent. Define lately. Huskers' '23 and '24 class are currently ranked 25th. Sad ya can't recruit kids to Nebraska.
