They weren't good when healthy, but I will say it's probably hard to improve when you are hurt
Yeahhhhh that's true. I dunno how good this line could've been healthy. Losing an All American hurts.

I will say it usually takes an OL a few games to "gel" under Fisher for some reason. Even the Maroon Goons of 2020 didn't look great vs Vandy or Bama. But then after a few games they were shoving every team they played around.

Hard to gel when there's a new lineup every week.

That quick slant to Lane is why I think it would. Hit him in stride instead of behind and low. Lane had to go down to catch. It. He's too inaccurate to leave in there without seeing what someone else can do.

Correct. That's my point. I don't think just throwing a new QB in there will make things go.

For all of 2019 I read how Calzada needed to start over Mond. And we got Calzada in 2021 and.... it wasn't pretty.

Then we heard how Max would make things right, how he had done so well at LSU, etc. And he had a bunch of ~50% passing games for 150 yards.

Maybe Weigman would light it up. Maybe not. I don't know.
