Admittedly it is tough. On one hand you want to see your team and alma mater do well, but on the hand when it becomes pro sports-lite with all the ironic racist hand-biting, there has got to come a time when it just isn't worth it.

I have a daughter and it would be nice if she grew up not having to compete with guys who want to be girls. I have no problem with if you want to change your gender, just don't normailze it so much you think you have a right to play womans sports.

I thought Jordan was a weird deal for football at first but I think it looks super fly. You won't be happy with any of the companies unfortunately from OPs objections.

Yes, just because I don't follow women's pro basketball doesn't mean I want my daughter competing against biological males. That said, all athletic apparel companies are the same in this regard.

The financial ties is to their ESG (I think that's the acronym) that is tied to big mutual funds investment money.

Proctor and Gamble lost $8 billion on their evaluation a few years ago. The NFL dropped a huge percentage of fans. DC comics is closing down offices and having to end comics due to their woke BS not selling.

EA went woke with Battlefield 5 and they literally had to discount the game by 50% in the first week to try and make back some sales.

I don't know that these companies all believe this stuff, but I think they in no way want to open themselves up to woke activists boycotting them. They are scared to death of that. Just my opinion.

I don't know much about all those other companies, but I can definitely tell you that EA making garbage, incomplete games on release are much bigger factors of their losses than going woke (even if that did become a hot topic for a while).

Unfortunately, there are only 3 brands being worn (Nike, Adidas, and UA) and all three suck. As of 2019, Nike had slightly more than half the FBS schools, Adidas had a little less than a third, and UA had less than a fifth.

As of 3-4 years ago, UA made the best products but they've shifted their production around so much that their quality has gone downhill rapidly -- and their share price along with it. Each of the companies pander politically because they want to keep the heat off of how and where they make their products -- low wage and crappy working condition facilities in poor countries around the world. It would be one thing if they stayed in one place and helped make that place better but it is doubtful. If they find a facility/supplier for a fraction of a cent cheaper, they'll go there. Screw the labor.

These companies are run by some of the worst people on earth. Unfortunately, they are the only ones that make the products we are talking about here. Quality, US made products (if you could actually find people to make them) would cost a fortune and no one would buy them. What's interesting is that all these branded footballs with Nike, Adidas and UA on them (along with the school logo) are made right here in Texas! But schools only need a few dozen of them.

Adidas isn't doing this because it makes them money. They are doing it because of pressure on their boards and leadership to get in line or get out. All you have to do is look at who owns them. Black Rock is the second largest public stock owner. If Black Rock is involved with your company, you get in line with Diversity, Equity, and inclusion or you are off the board or out of your leadership position. Simple as that.

So keep sitting back and telling people they are wasting their time worrying about this stuff while our constitutional republic turns into Soros' socialist playground.
