he's already transferring from OSU??
C.J. Stroud is in the class ahead of him and has their job locked down. 5 star QBs don't sit on the bench these days.bulverdeaggie93 said:

As opposed to your brilliant insight? Good grief.
Can't argue with your assessment and I concur.DallasAggie89 said:
When we have 5 star QBs transfer something is wrong with the coach but when tOSU has 5 star QBs transfer there is something wrong with the player.

Southlake's offense hasn't missed a beat without him. I don't know if that means anything, just an interesting point.

God we need him

seriously...he got over one million in NIL deals.HSEAG13 said:
Bigger question is what strings are attached to an NIL deal?

He's able to change the velocity of his throws in proportion to the distance his receiver is from him. Do want.

Did Elway do this, or did his receivers just learn to fkn catch the ball?

Because conceivably if Calzada sticks it out the 3 deep would have King, Calzada, Weigman, and Bost at fourth string. That's two 5s, and a high 3 (with a lot of game experience now).elaggie2002 said:
Wait some of you don't want the top ranked QB of 2022 and 5star player after what we just saw this year? Even if Calzada and King were amazing why don't you want to have depth at the most important position? If we want to compete with Bama and Georgia we need depth at every position. We have a good QB this year we lose maybe 1-2 games max.
Look I love Calzada. But he's not the answer. King not sure if many of you have seen him in person, but he's a small guy. I really don't think he can get through a a season.
Nothing is a guarantee at this point. If he wants to come here and I am the coach I take him in a heartbeat.
There was an NFL special on Elway; in it, his dad said that plenty of kids threw the ball at a young age, but when Elway did it, it was just accurate. You can't teach accuracy, and Elway may have been one of the most accurate ever.4 said:wheelz said:Vepp said:

Haha. I've got a good friend that played with Elway. He tells a funny story about his first TD catch from JE.
He was running a skinny post out of the slot from about 25 yds out and said when he planted his foot to cut, he turned his head and put his hands up and the ball was in them.
He told me, no ****, I never saw it. It was just there when I put my hands up.

We got Weigman.. Jimbo also rewards loyalty.
We good...
Except if you look at the entirety of the two situations, they're not similar.whatthehey78 said:Can't argue with your assessment and I concur.DallasAggie89 said:

Don't forget that Joey Mac at Tech is tight with that north texas groupShowstopper said:
I doubt it's us, we have a pretty full pipeline (which is weird to say given that the backup QB right now at this moment is a walkon). And Tech is so bad they got boat-raced by Texas.
So yeah probably sip.
