Young how? ...Majority of kids playing are Jr's and Redshirt Jr's....

Actually with 2 turnovers, Mond can't hit the broad side of a barn, D playing like a pee wee team, we are lucky to only be down 7.
But OSU D does look really poor and looks like we are running the ball well when we don't fumble.
We better win this winable game darn it!
+1

You HAVE to assume Mond wont be the starter next year, right?
Those are the only two choices?? FML.ZapAg82 said:I'm glad Beth Mowin isn't calling it.Argentina Aggie said:
Aren't we thankful that Gary Danielson isn't calling this game?

It's really weird, bc the gameplan against Georgia (run the ball no matter what) would work against Okie State.
Instead, we are running Big 12 style horizontal passes...exactly the kind of play the Okie State defense was made to stop.
Head scratching.

Does Jimbo know something we dont? He is too calm.
10 year guaranteed contract ... no reason to be nervous!
Calzada has not had enough playing time to rule him out.MyNameIsKyle said:He's only about a -750 favorite. Fisher has stuck with him this long, and the internal **** storm it would cause to start King over a three year starter ... yikes.PatAg said:

Oh, and anyone who thinks Calzada is the answer needs to put down grandpa's cough syrup.

Given that Okie gets the ball to begin the 3rd that was just unacceptable by Jimbo. And I'm not buying the bs about lack of confidence in the QB.
It doesnt even need to be a 30 yard pass. Spiller or smith could break one open at anytime and at least get in FG range. At a minimum the MSG is sent to the team that were fighting to the end.
Nothing bad happens if he throws an int 30 yards down the field there except to losers on Texags.
It's a ****ing bowl. Let it rip. Jimbo is coaching this ridiculously slow conservative bull**** game plan just like he has the last 2 years. Not going to work with this roster.
Believe what you want, but what happens says it all. Jimbo had zero confidence in him. Watching him turn it over twice, miss 2 easy TD passes and then he can't even run a QB sneak correctly.
It is what it is.
What does a 30 yard pass down the field that gets picked off in traffic do? Nothing other than take it to the half. Mond has been terrible but so has Jimbo. No reason not to attack vertically there, even if jorvorskie is at QB(small joke because his shot put passes down field were always on the money)

Im with you Im not buying bull!!!@ narrative about QB...Same QB did good last year but this year not so...WR's were more successful last year than this year...Its not just lack of running game but could it be the play calling or did the move from Davis being on Outside to Inside effect QB-WR play?...At end of day Jimbo has to be held accountable

Lots of amateure coaches on here tonight.

I think it's safe to say we had Mond show up for the 1st half.
Doesn't mean he is good enough to win here or anywhere he goes.Bunk Moreland said:drevans956 said:ArcheryAg said:

People who reach the mountain top in their profession are driven by the desire to achieve more than a dollar figure.
Insinuating he's fat and happy with his salary is by far the laziest and dumbest angle this board takes. Jimbo's ego is far too big to rest on the laurels of 1 title with Jameis. And that's a good thing for us.
Money whipping non achievers like Sumlin is when you should worry.

You mean The OL that has allowed us to run the ball and stay in the game thus far?AvidAggie said:CrottyKid said:

Maybe it's because our OL is subpar
