yeah he's getting torched by tOSU players...multiple WR's who saw the altercation and said there's no way they would allow a racial slur to be used and nothing happen to Smith.

That's the risk you run in the new era of media. McMurphy runs with partial gossip from 7 different sources and tries to tie it all into some crazy story of an Urban cover up.

Also continues to make you wonder who is behind McMurphy in all this. Very convenient timing to drop this story the morning Smith is going on Dakich's show after the weekend's tweet storm. Felt loaded and ready.

Smith is clearly a loose cannon but my guess is there's a lot of truth to certain factions that are getting messy with all of this.

Agree. It's very convenient that McMurphy just happened to have this go out today. Makes me think more and more that factions(that include Herman) really are trying to fully take down Urb through Smith

Urb's a piece of trash but there is a clear agenda that is being pushed.

I believe most of what Smith is saying. Sure there's 3 sides to every story, but I'm betting his version is a hell of a lot closer to the truth than Herman's.

Agree. I would bet anything the things he is saying about the other coaches' conduct is true.

They are lucky that his delivery is so outlandish, it gives them shade.

Agreed. I posted a while back that it sounded like he was about to meet his Maker. It seems like he's been running high on hatred, and revenge (and probably some chemical help) for too long. Not good for someone with (reportedly) violent tendencies and a trend of making rash, bad decisions.

Dakich canceled him and he basically said he was told by legal for the show why would they get in the middle of it since there will be more to the story, protect the show, etc. He then basically said he still could have done it but decided not to.

No white coach today would sling racial epithets in an argument with a player, no matter how out of control the rest of his life is. That would be the end of his career. Especially a "recruiter" like Smith.


Big Picture:

McMurphy got laid off at ESPN. He had to break the Zach Smith on social media. Tom Herman approached with the story that would get McMurphy back in the game. Ok, cool. There was actual documentation that tended to substantiate the original story, which was that Smith was a wifebeater, Urban knew, Urban lied about knowing.

If McMurphy was disciplined, he would have insisted on documentation to substantiate the stories, or at least required his "sources" to take a polygraph.

McMurphy is getting used. The only question is Why? Is he getting paid? Is he up Courtney Smith's butt? Does he just like being back in the spotlight, Avenatti style?

So Tom Herman is a vile snake, and in other everybody in the world already knows news water is still wet. Last I checked Urban Meyer didn't care if the people surrounding him were unsavory as long as they weren't messy and they helped him build his brand. Its like a movie where the super villain has two idiot henchman who while they attempt to accomplish the mission actually do more to stop the villain than the heroes do.

Zach Smith is going to be the next nightclub shooter. He is nuts!
