Santo Nino Maricon.....never heard of her.
On the ankle thing, the article acts as if its an estsblished fact but there is a picture that disproves it. This is a major problem with journalism today - feelings and opinions arent facts until they are corroborated.zipp99 said:
This portion of the article says it all:
"Marchiol said he believes he was pushed to play through the injury because of a belief coaches frequently shared loudly with the players: The Aggies program had been like a country club under Sumlin. In fact, he said, everything in the message of Fisher and his assistants had been themed to demand more toughness, from the duration of workouts to the language coaches used on the field to players being told outright that highly rated recruits were coming to replace them.
"They called us soft all the time," Marchiol said. "They kept telling us, 'This is gonna get worse, you haven't seen *****'
Ken Marchiol, who played briefly in the NFL before moving into the financial services sector, said he also witnessed language that he felt crossed the line.
"He called them a bunch of p------, said they weren't worth a f---," Ken Marchiol said. "It wasn't teaching, just attacking."
After persevering through what he felt like was unfair treatment, Santino Marchiol had reached his limit. The week after he was forced to practice on an injured ankle, he packed up and moved out of College Station."
Country club doors got shut. Players got called out for being soft. Marchiol got triggered by the truth and ran away to a safe space.
And he's still soft. Good riddance.Quote:

On June 11, Marchiol said, he was warming up for a conditioning workout when he heard a "pop" while landing on his right foot.
...
He practiced the rest of the week and said his lower leg continued to swell and showed significant bruising.
Hmmmm... I'm not seeing signs of significant bruising and swelling on this Sunday after a week of practice.

Sounds like jimbo is playing to win. Who did jimbo learn from?
I don't think anything will come of it. If the NCAA doesn't grant his wavier, then you can rest assured nothing will come of it.12thmanfootball said:
Nothing will come of this..........but if it does get serious, there will be some pissed off Aggies out there, including this one.

calling Aggie Hawg, do you have any insight on this Arkansas law firm or heard any rumors as to why they are representing him from any of your Hog connections?

Unfortunately there is no such thing as winning cleanly in college football. The small stuff like this happens everywhere. But for $75m, I damn sure don't expect to get caught 6 months into it before we've even played a game.Quote:
It is a shame to have a cloud over the program. Even a bigger shame if true. This is a good reminder that a $75m check doesn't mean you are above the law. Win, but win cleanly.

Hmm...news to me. But then again, I don't listen to Austin radio. Maybe need to start now that he's not on air in his muffled voice from having Bevo's light switch in his mouth.Champ Bailey said:aTm2004 said:Is Chimp saying that we're going to have bowl bans because of this?Champ Bailey said:

Haha chimp hasn't been on the horn in a while. He was so bad that they replaced him a couple of years ago with an Aggie.
Well yeah, the article is "cleverly" written to say that Marchiol did not contact the NCAA but sent the allegations to Arizona State. ASU obviously gave the letter to NCAA. What did Marchiol think was going to happen?dromo07 said:
Probably is. Summy is probably pushing it too.
He's the 2nd from the right? Does one wear Sperrys when his " lower leg continued to swell and showed significant bruising."technoviking said:Quote:
